Application Development
From start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, we have satisfied customers across the world.
What is VBA?
VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is the programming language behind Microsoft Office and over 100 other applications. With VBA you can query and retrieve data from a database, analyze and graph it in Excel, and email it from Outlook — all with a single click! Using VBA you can automate repetitive, complex or tedious tasks, giving you or your staff more time to do the work at hand. Most projects pay for themselves within a few months.
Excel Development
Whether you want to automate a weekly report, create a few custom worksheet functions, or build a state-of-the-art commercial Excel add-in, we can help. We have strong financial and analytical skills, and extensive programming experience. Excel VBA programming and application development is what we do best.
Access Development
Many projects require a database to store mission-critical information, and Microsoft Access is the most popular desktop database on the market. We’ve developed Access and SQL Server database solutions for companies and government organizations across the country. We can also help with an existing database.
Integrated Client-Server Solutions
We specialize in integrated solutions that utilize both Excel and Access (or SQL Server). By storing the data in a shared database, then using Excel as a front-end to access, manipulate, and report on that data, we emulate a client-server application that ensures data-integrity, multiuser capability, scalability, and efficiency.
.NET Development
These applications are usually more sophisticated programs that harness the power of the Microsoft Windows and .NET framework. A .NET application is a stand-alone program that offers the look, feel, and performance of an out-of-the-box Windows or web application. Please email us for more details.
Custom Add-in Development
Whether you need help with a VBA-based add-in, or a commercial grade add-in built with the latest .NET technology and C++, we can help. Please email us for more details.
Excel Custom Functions in C/C++
Custom worksheet functions can be written in VBA but for more calculation intensive operations, such as simulation and sensitivity analysis, VBA functions can be slow. To get optimal performance, you’ll need to rewrite them in C or C++, just like Excel’s built-in functions. If you have a VBA function that you want to upgrade to C/C++, let us know. Or, if you have just a vague notion of what you’re looking to do, we can assist. We’ll work with you to create just the right function. Please email us for more information.
