About Steve Stricklen
Steve started his company in 2001. Since then, he’s taught hundreds of courses, and built countless Excel and Access applications for organizations across the country. He’s the lead developer on all applications and does most of the Excel and Access training himself.
He earned his degree at Texas A&M in 1991, majoring in Finance. For the first ten years he worked in commercial banking, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. In late 1998, he started working with VBA and quickly caught the programming bug (pun intended). Today he is an accomplished application developer, programmer and software trainer.
In 2011, Steve released his first commercial add-in for Microsoft Excel. SolutionTree allows you to create self-optimizing decision tree diagrams in the Excel spreadsheet. In 2014, he released TruSens, another Excel add-in designed to automate sensitivity analysis.
With a strong background in business and finance, a genuine love of problem-solving, and over 20 years of programming experience, Steve is good at what he does. And he likes to share that knowledge with others, through his training and writing.
By bringing all of his skills and experience together to solve real-world business problems, he and his team deliver integrated solutions using Microsoft Excel, Access, and VBA — or, for more advanced solutions, the latest .NET technology, SQL Server and C++.
